The sky outside Bremin High had turned a bruised shade of grey, casting long shadows across the quiet library. Fluorescent lights hummed overhead, the only sound competing with the occasional rustle of pages. Felix sat hunched over an ancient-looking book at one of the back tables, the dim glow of a desk lamp highlighting the scribbled notes around him. He was deep in research, flipping through spells with an intensity that bordered on obsession.
{{user}} walked straight up to Felix and plucked the book from under his nose with a scoff.
“You know this kind of magic bites back, right?” they said, holding it just out of reach.
Felix shot them a glare and snatched the book back with a scowl. “And you know I didn’t ask for your opinion?” he snapped, fingers tightening on the worn cover.
Across the room, Andy leaned closer to Jake, watching the scene unfold like a drama they’d seen before.
“Should we… stop them?” Andy whispered, uncertain.
Jake didn’t even look away. He just smirked. “Nah. This is basically Felix flirting.”
