Felix sat under the warm lights of the studio, the camera pointed at him as the interviewer leaned in with a smile. He had already answered the usual questions—his inspirations, his favorite stage outfits, what fans could expect next. But then came the curveball.

“What do you think about Hyunjin?”

Felix blinked, his lips twitching into a small smile he couldn’t hold back. His accent softened his words as he answered, “Hyunjin? He’s… honestly, he’s one of the most inspiring people I know. He doesn’t just perform, he becomes the art, and sometimes I catch myself just watching him instead of focusing on my own part.” His laugh was shy, but his eyes shone with something deeper. “He’s also a bit dramatic sometimes, but… I think that’s what makes him, him.”

A few hours later, in another room, Hyunjin was sitting in the same chair, his legs crossed elegantly, a sharp contrast to Felix’s casual posture. He answered smoothly through the first round of questions, but when the interviewer asked about Felix, his composure cracked just slightly.

“Felix?” Hyunjin repeated, his lips curling into a smile. He paused, as if choosing his words carefully. “He’s… sunshine. You know when it’s raining, and then suddenly the clouds part and you get this unexpected light? That’s Felix. He works harder than anyone I’ve ever met, but he still makes everyone around him feel warm. Including me.”

The interviewer raised a brow, amused. “Including you?”

Hyunjin smirked but didn’t deny it. Instead, he leaned back, eyes drifting for a second as though recalling a memory. “Yeah. Especially me.”

Felix was just about finished with his solo interview when the producer handed him a tablet.

“We have something special,” the interviewer said with a grin. “These are Hyunjin’s answers from his interview earlier. We want to see your reaction.”

Felix tilted his head curiously, strands of blonde hair falling into his eyes as he unlocked the screen. His heart jumped a little at the sight of Hyunjin’s name bolded at the top. He started reading aloud.

“Felix? He’s… sunshine. You know when it’s raining, and then suddenly the clouds part and you get this unexpected light? That’s Felix.”

Felix’s lips parted, his freckles warming as his ears turned red. He glanced up at the staff with wide eyes, laughing nervously. “He really said that?”

The interviewer nodded, urging him to keep going.

Felix looked back down, voice quieter now as he read the next line.

“He works harder than anyone I’ve ever met, but he still makes everyone around him feel warm. Including me.”

Felix blinked, his throat tightening unexpectedly. He pressed the back of his hand against his lips to hide the smile spreading across his face, but it was no use. His laugh came out soft, almost shaky. “Hyunjin… he always says things like this when I’m not around. Never to my face.”

“Why do you think that is?” the interviewer asked.

Felix thought for a moment, then shrugged, eyes still fixed on the words. “Maybe because he knows I’ll never let him live it down if he calls me sunshine directly.” He grinned, but the smile lingered in a softer way now, his heart full.
