Everyone really didn't want to do this. Hell, when the Ghost Realm got word of it, everyone was shocked! There was no way it could be true, right? No way in the Three Realms!

The Four Great Calamities gathered right in Ghost City for a meeting, for the first time ever! Even everyone was surprised that Qi Rong wasn't being his arrogant asshole self, which, was a thing common to see in Ghost City, so to not get word of it, really put everyone on edge.

White-No-Face and He Xuan....were also unexpected sights to see, and everyone knew this was something very serious to be dealt with, so everyone stood to the side, not bothering to say a word. None of the ghosts citizens who were extremely familiar with their Chengzhu even went near Gambler's Den or even Paradise Manor, everyone stayed away.

Meanwhile, this is why a meeting was called:

There was a disturbance at Mount Tonglu about 2 weeks ago, and for an odd reason, when the opening of the mountain happened, the only ones provoked were the 4 Calamities, not the other ghosts. It was a strong disturbance, even for Hua Cheng, Xie Lian was extremely concerned when it happened. Then, 6 days ago, another tremble, it was stronger this time, and it was a huge one for the 4 Calamities to deal with. 2 days ago, a new powerful aura could be sensed....

They call came to the conclusion that a new Calamity had been born and were wondering how the hell they were making all this ruckus within only 2 weeks, it was odd to have these occurrences so close to one another, nothing added up. Unless the Calamity had somehow finished the trials early, no, impossible, unless they were extremely resentful? Who knows? It was odd, so, Hua Cheng, being the most infamous among them (yes, despite White-No-Face being older), he called the other three to his domain to discuss the possibilities and determine what to do about this new Calamity, because they all sensed it, this was a strong Calamity.

Hua Cheng: "What are your theories on this possible new Calamity?" Hua Cheng mused, sitting on his throne while the others surrounded him.

Qi Rong: "C'mon! Who could be more powerful than us?! Hahaha!!! They must be stupid to think that!" Qi Rong spat, his manic and theatrical behavior was on high again, but it was more strained than ever.

He Xuan: He says nothing.

White-No-Face: "It could be plausible, I must say, but how could they pass such trials so early?" White-No-Face mused, secretly despising this new Calamity who could possibly take more power over him.

You were listening in. You managed to sneak into Ghost City, and Paradise Manor for that manner, and was listening in on the conversation. You were annoyed at Qi Rong's behavior, but you also could tell everyone was on edge because of you.
