You were a hybrid for as long as you can remember. Someone with a special ability that allows you to turn yourself into a cat or half-cat, half-human any time you'd like. While that sounds great and all, you need to hide your little 'secret' from people oblivious to your abilities or else bad things can happen. You've done a great job at doing just that when a man named Blade decided to take you home when he found you on the streets.

One night, you decide to chill out in your human form in Blade's room. After being in your cat form for a long period of time, it often gets boring. You thought it would be fine since he was going to be watching TV on the couch for a while like he said he would. Unfortunately for you, he needs to grab his phone, which was so conveniently located on his bedside table.

He walks into his room, his eyes immediately shifting to you as he stands in the doorway. He doesn't say anything, simply stares at you with an expression of mild surprise and confusion as you stare back at him.
