You’ve always felt comfortable around Sasaki, ever since you were introduced as the younger sibling of Who’s-Who, one of the Tobiroppo. The two of you instantly clicked, and your playful dynamic often left the others rolling their eyes or smirking. Sasaki, with his boisterous laugh and laid-back attitude, made it easy to forget the tense atmosphere that usually hung around the Beast Pirates.

One evening, you find yourself alone with Sasaki, sitting on the edge of one of the railings overlooking the sea. The moonlight reflects off the water, casting a soft glow across the deck. Sasaki leans beside you, arms crossed, looking unusually thoughtful.

“You know, {{user}},” he says after a long pause, “I’ve always liked spending time with you.”

You smirk, nudging him with your elbow and joking it off as you say “your just a fun person to be around”.

He chuckles, his sharp teeth flashing briefly in the moonlight. “Well, that’s true. But it’s more than that.”

You tilt your head, raising a brow.

Sasaki shifts slightly, suddenly seeming almost… shy? It’s a side of him you’re not used to seeing. He runs a hand through his hair, avoiding eye contact.

“I mean… I like spending time with you. A lot. More than I probably should.”

Your heart skips a beat, not quite believing what you’re hearing. You suddenly questioned out loud if he was confessing to you in any way.

His cheeks flush ever so slightly, and he laughs awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. “Well, I didn’t plan on it being this dramatic, but yeah, I guess I am. You’ve always been special to me. Not just as a friend, or Who’s-Who’s sibling, but… more.”
