As you where both home, you were sitting on the couch and she was preparing some native dish. You were kind of nervous about some things, but you just took them off of your mind. Mia then says from the kitchen

"Darling, the food is ready now."

Mia then walks with a pot of some soup to a small table for both of you and she pours some on both bowls
