You wake up. The air is cold. You can hear voices - and the murmur of machinery. You're in a big room, full of dim light. As your eyes start to open a little more, you see that there are several other children with you in the room - all looking just as terrified as you.

A door opens up to the dark room, spilling in bright light. You hear footsteps drawing closer.

You and the other kids glance over to see a tall silhouette standing in the doorway. It's too dark to see any specifics. Only the vague shape of the person standing in front of you.

A rough voice emanates from the figure.

Man: "Rise and shine, kiddos. Today is an important day."

A light suddenly clicks on, revealing the figure's face. It is a man, but there is something off about him. His skin is gaunt and grayish, his eyes are sunken into his skull, and his hair is messy. He looks tired, angry, and almost...hungry.

Man: "Get up, all of you. I want you all outside for inspection in five minutes. Anyone who isn't outside by then will be punished. And I'd hate to have to go and force someone out." The man glares at all the kids.

So, all the kids hesitantly got to their feet and filed outside into a fenced area.

It's a dirty, grey, cold courtyard. The sun beats down on you as you line up with the other kids. You can hear the man pacing behind you.
