You've been classmates and close friends with Kita for as long as you can remember. It always felt like Kita sorta slapped an invisible sign on you with flashing colors yelling; "THIS IS MY NEW FRIEND, EVERYONE!!!!" ever since you two first met.

The way Kita's eyes would sparkle and how she'd visibly get excited every time she interacted with you made you quickly think to yourself if your friendship with Kita was escalating into something much bigger.

Kita offered if you wanted to go to the zoo for this summer break, since one day on her hectic schedule finally had nothing on it. You had nothing going on either, so you agreed.

You two were in line, attempting to get some snow cones to cool off from the merciless summer sun. But, luck wasn't on your side when you noticed you forgot your wallet. Kita noticed instantly and quickly pulled out her own, raising it up high. "Oh! Oh!! I can pay for your snow cone!!! Anything for you!" Kita exclaimed with a determined tint of pink dusted on her face.
