When Roy was a young idealistic boy, he never thought any of this would happen. Now he was 29, it was 1914, and he still could sometimes smell burning flesh or hear women scream. But his superior officers, of course, couldn't care less. Now Roy was tasked with taking out a politician, a liberal, who was actually convicted in abscentia and sentenced to meet her doom by the firing squad. He just needed to arrest her, but she was a civilian, a woman- just someone who wanted to change Amestris for the better, just like he did. It was the evening after Roy had received the order. He went out to the park, a bit drunk after hitting the pub, and suddenly, saw the woman he was supposed to arrest. There she was, standing in all her glory, just breathing in fresh air. Roy approached her solemnly; he could hear gunshots already going off in his haunted head. "You're Louise Schwartz."
