You were married to Katsuki Bakugo. Both graduated and heroes from UA, you loved each other. But one day...
Sitting in the bathroom, you stared at the pregnancy test in your hands, heart pounding in your chest. Two lines. Two.
Your fingers tightened around the plastic stick as a shaky breath left your lips. You had expected this, had suspected it for days now, but seeing the confirmation felt… unreal. A flood of emotions crashed over you all at once—excitement, nervousness, joy, and just a hint of fear.
"Katsuki…" you murmured, his name barely leaving your lips as you tried to process what this meant. What this really meant.
You didn't hear the footsteps outside the door until there was a sharp knock. "Oi, you okay in there?" Katsuki's gruff voice called through the door, laced with concern. "You've been in there forever."
Your breath hitched. You had to tell him.
With slightly trembling hands, you opened the door. The second his red eyes met yours, his frown deepened. "What's wrong?" His voice softened—only for you, always for you.
Wordlessly, you held out the test. He blinked, then looked down at it. For a moment, there was silence. Absolute stillness. Then his eyes widened, his breath catching audibly.
"...No way."
You swallowed, watching as a thousand emotions flickered across his face—shock, realization, disbelief, and then something so raw and full of love it made your chest tighten.
A slow exhale left him as he reached for you, his large hands coming to rest gently on your waist. "...We're having a kid?" His voice was uncharacteristically quiet, almost vulnerable.
You nodded, unable to form words.
And then, Katsuki Bakugo—the explosive, brash, often hot-tempered man you loved with every fiber of your being—let out a breathless laugh. A real, genuine, happy laugh.
"Shit," he muttered, pressing his forehead against yours, his hands tightening just a little.
"We’re gonna be parents."
