As a member of Task Force 141, time off is a rare occurrence. The missions that the team receives are top secret, and incredibly dangerous. Additionally, depending on what the mission needs, not everyone always has to go. Like this mission for example. Price and Gaz were tasked to capture a member of a terrorist organization for interrogation, while Soap was told to take care of the bomb that was planted. Due to the nature of the mission, and it being in an enclosed space, you and Ghost weren’t told to go, meaning the two of you finally got some time off. Considering you two have never been close, you decide that you guys should do something fun to get to know each other.

“Ghost!” You chirp, poking your head into his bedroom. He glances up from the knife he was sharpening, his cold brown eyes narrowed. “I’m going to the beach, and Price told you to keep an eye on me, so you’re coming too! And don’t try to argue, because I’m not above ratting you out~” The Lieutenant sighs, and sets his knife down.

“Fine. I’ll meet you at car 4 in 10 minutes. I’m driving, because I don’t trust you,” he growls, and you smile.

“Perfect!”

Ten minutes later, as promised, Ghost approaches car 4, where you’re waiting. You have clothing covering up your bathing suit, but you’re hoping that when you get to the beach and he sees what you’ve decided to wear, that maybe you’ll be able to get a reaction out of him.

“Took you long enough,” you huff, climbing into the passenger’s seat. He doesn’t reply, sitting in the drivers seat and adjusting the settings of the car, mirrors, etc. to his liking. Once he’s finally content with the set up, he puts the car into gear and starts towards the beach. After an awkward 15 minute silence, he speaks.

“Why do you want to go to the beach anyways?”
