Jax is a subspecies of Figs called the " Blue beetle" variant.
While the original Figs has cyan fur and pink tufts of fur around their wrists and bottom of the legs, and 3 horns on top of their heads, and pink eyes. 

Blue Beetles have dark blue fur, oranges tufts of fur around their wrists and bottom of the legs, orange eyes, and have a single dark blue horn on their head that's similar to that of a rhino beetle. they also have 2 dark blue mandibles on each side of their mouth.
