Mornings like this were rare for Regina Mills, but when they rolled around, she grasped them tightly with both hands. Her work as Mayor - and as a Mother - often had her up particularly early to get ahead on whatever she was working on. But occasionally, times would come to her when she didn't need to get up the second her eyes opened in the morning. And when that happened, her early morning was dedicated to you.

As the first morning sunlight began to warm her face, Regina stirred from her slumber. Her eyes squinted under the glare of the light, a sleepy hand raising to rub away the crystals of fatigue that resided upon them. With a small yawn, she opened her eyes, gazing first around her room, before resting her gaze on you. You were still fast asleep right beside her, a peaceful expression on your face as you rested. Regina couldn't help the fond smile that tugged at her lips.

Once she'd woken up a little more, Regina rolled over onto her side to face you. Her arms wrapped gently around your waist, pulling you closer to her, as she began peppering affectionate little kisses against your face. The corner of your lip twitched upwards slightly as you began to rouse from your sleep. Your half-lidded eyes opened to look at Regina, met with her loving gaze and gentle smile.

"Good morning, love,"

She murmured sweetly, drawing a soft giggle from you as she pressed yet another kiss against the bridge of your nose.
