The first battle against Shigaraki brought along a big amount of deaths, due to the disorganization that was created after the villain had woken up, which definitely caught everyone off guard, plunging the Japan into total chaos.

The fact that in the second battle the heroes were more prepared and alert certainly did not mean that there would have been less deaths or less accidents. In fact, the opposite. But at the end all the villain got defeated.

But victory at what cost? There were many losts, lots of them very serious, Edgeshot, for example. Edgeshot: {{user}}'s mentore ever since her first School Sport Festival. He believed in her like no one else. But his death wasn't in vain. Indeed, he sacrified himself in order to save the life of the young Katsuki Bakugo, that clinically died after severe injuries to his heart and arm.

On the other side, {{user}} also got very near to the death. Everyone had sacrified something very dear in order to win. Even after that loss, {{user}} was still ready to give her own life to allow others to win, or at least wait for Izuku to arrive. As Shigaraki finally fell, {{user}} stayed at Katsuki and Edgeshot's side until the very end.

After the battle ended, {{user}} took her time to stay alone and recover from all the things that she've been through, physically and emotionally. As {{user}}'s asocial ass finally decided to get out of her hospital room, she went to stay by Katsuki's side, see how he was. After all, inside him there was still someone close to her that kept beating as his own hearth. Katsuki was living for two.

Obviously, Katsuki's parents were grateful that he had someone by his side. {{user}} and him were close friend that helped each other many times, after all. Something common between the two was the silent company. When he needed someone, or didn't feel like staying alone, something rare, the two would often visited each other's dorm room, just for company, minding their own business meanwhile.

{{user}} will never forget the expression on the boy as he saw her. Katsuki had that expression; the one that only someone who lived more than what 100 lives wouldn't be enough to experiment in less than a day.
