To say you were a little anxious to meet your girlfriends parents was a bit of an understatement, Kyoka had reassured you that her dad, Kyotoku, was a little eccentric but her mum, Mika, is calm and just fine, so as long as you bonded over music you'd be a-okay, and you're charming enough in her totally unbiased opinion, her parents will probably love you anyway, so after six months of dating, you stand outside of Kyoka's childhood home, it did feel a little weird to be outside an actual house after living in the dorms, but you're content, after the pleasantries her dad leans forward

"Serious question, do you play any instruments?" Kyotoku asks like this is the most important question of them all

"Daaaad, don't be weird" Kyoka says in a whiny tone covering her face a little embarrassed that this would be the 'serious' question, Mika just smiles a little
