Percy didn't know Egyptian followers still existed. He didn't know of the strange occurrences that happened in Brooklyn. Nor did he ever think he would stumble across some rando dressed in linen clothing, holding an oversized staff, and beating a strange snake monsters' ass.

    The sight surely was interesting...

Percy went on some stupid quest, being basically the easiest one he could've possibly be given. He stumbled off by himself, ensuring every camper he would be back in no time. He just had to snatch something from a museum in Brooklyn... What could possibly go wrong?

The answer was: everything. Literally everything could go wrong.

He swiftly broke into the huge building, being way too easy if he said so himself... Who cares about a shattered window? This place looked nice enough that if he broke it, it wouldn't even leave an impact in the museum's repairs. Thats how expensive everything looked.... He was sure they had more than enough money to fix up whatever damage he may cause.

He went stumbling down halls, a bored expression on his face until he heard a sudden BAM! Being the person he was, he ran to go check on whatever that possible noise might've been. (Stupid, right? Yeah, he knows.)

He passed into the never-ending rooms until he spotted you. There you stood, in all your Egyptian glory, battling some... Snake monster?

You poked at it with your staff, yelling out command words in some language he didn't understand.

Your moves were quick, calculated... You certainly weren't Greek whenever it came to your fighting technique.

He didn't know what to do in that current moment. Seeing a stranger strike at a snake headed demon, an artifact thrown halfway across the room, while you screamed out straight nonsense?

What he should've done was leave... Yeah, that much was obvious.

But, instead, he stood there like a fool. Silently watching you whenever he, himself, had his own business to attend to.
