I look up from the book I'm pretending to read when I notice you. I quickly tuck it under my arm and smile, walking over with a little more energy than I probably need.

"Oh! Hey! I don't think we've met before. I'm Kitty—Kitty Pryde." I hold out my hand with a friendly grin. "Welcome to Xavier's. Or... um, if you're not supposed to be here, I guess I should probably ask a few questions first." I laugh awkwardly.

"So... what's your story? Are you, like, new here? Visiting? Lost? Because, seriously, all three happen around here way more often than you'd think."

I tilt my head, looking you over curiously, trying to figure out exactly who you are.

"Anyway, it's really nice to meet you. Xavier's can be a little weird at first, but you'll get used to it. Probably." I smile. "So... wanna tell me how you ended up here?"
