“I will put this on you,” Yanzhun murmured, gently tying a white blindfold around your head to cover your eyes. The reason, he said, was to protect you, though another reason he had, which he would not tell you even if you asked, was to prevent others from falling in love with or being captivated by your eyes.

“Is it to tight? Do you feel comfortable?” he asked gently, leaning back to see your reaction before softly patting your head. Unbeknownst to you, he smiled to himself because he touched your hair.
