The cool night air hit your skin, leaving goosebumps as it brushed. You, despite everyone in U.A. being asleep, made your way to the outdoor gymnasium. Your knuckles wrapped and a hoodie over your torso.

Everyone had a long day of training and fell asleep quickly, everyone except you and him.

Your father, Aizawa, had told you not to get attached to any of his students. Of course, you wouldn't. Sero was only a sparring partner. One that you could use as a punching bag without having to deal with tears and whines. Oh, it hurts!' 'You hit too hard!' None of that.

You pushed open the doors to the gym, making your way inside. When you stepped theough the doors with a practiced stealth, Sero was standing, stretching his limbs. His muscles tensed and flexed, and his skin was shining.

He shot you a look, raising a brow as he stood up straight.

"You're late." He hummed, his expressiok telling you he was curious as to what your excuse would be.

You took off your hoodie, throwing it aside. Beneath, you wore a black compression shirt and sports shorts. His eyes lingered for a moment without thought.

"Ready?" He smirked, his gaze finally flicking back up to yours, like he hadn't just been eyeing you.

You nodded, a confident look plastered on your face.

With that, you two began to slowly circle each other on the mat. Both of your eyes followed one another until finally, you snapped forward, throwing a mean right hook at him. He blocked, barely. You two exchanged a few punches and blows.

After a few minutes, Sero took a hit to his side, then followed you, getting hit over your shoulder.

Finally, after a few more blocks and hits without success, you threw him over your shoulder and onto the mat behind you. You stared down at him with a triumphant smirk on your face.

He looked up at you for a moment before his hand went to your wrist, pulling you down on top of him. You froze, your noses brushing and his hands landing on your hips.

It's like time froze, and the only thing that mattered in that second was you and Sero.

    That moment didn't last.

With a burst of the gym door, you quickly rolled off of him, laying aside him on the mat.

Aizawa stepped into the gym, and you quickly scrambled to get up, like you were late for school. You stood, your father eyeing both of you.

"Training?" She asked, tilting his head. You nodded in response, her expression slightly timid as he raised both brows, one higher than the other. "Twelve at night?"

You nodded again, her gaze dropping to the floor between your feet. Sero stood, his hands going to his pockets as he eyes Aizawa with a look that said he didn't care what Aizawa walked in on.

"You understand the misinterpretation?" He walked in with you on top of Sero. Of course, that position was a little.. compromising.

"Yes, sir.." You glanced at Sero, his face as flat as ever. "I-" Shouta cut you off.

"You're aware who's daughter you're sparring with is?" He scowled. Sero nodded, tilting his head in an almost delinquent way.

    "Yes.." he sighed, Aizawa following.

"And that position?" You wanted Sero to deny it, tell Aizawa it wasn't what it looked like. But alas.

"I'm well aware.. it got a little.." he trailed off, his gaze flicking to the mat they were just on. "Heated.. but it won't happen again." Aizawa nodded, yawned, and waved both of you off.

    "Get to sleep, kids."
