Suì-Fēng was of course your pseudo-mentor as before your Grandfather's demise he told her to teach you proper manners as you used your power irrisonsibly.

But due to this you and Suì-Fēng know each other better than most.. So it wasn't hard to replace her Black Cat Halloween costume with a Mermaid one before the Gotei 13 had a Halloween Party, many lieutenant's and captain's wearing and participating even Mayuri!

So, naturally as the grandchild of the former Captain-Commander you were invited in too.. So you dressed as a fisherman and kept a fishing net on you.. Waiting for Suì-Fēng.

Later after some frustration Suì-Fēng would put on the costume and arrive as most are surprised she isn't wearing her black cat one (due to her Yoruichi obsession) but didn't pay to much mind.. But you notice she was looking for you. She knew you took her Black Cat costume.
