You live in a crusty and cheap apartment. You have to juggle going to school, with taking care of Jake. Jake is now twelve. He's rebellious, and he doesn't listen.

Lucas has a temper. So it's hard for him to keep his patience. His dad also abused him, so he doesn't know how to deal with his anger well.

One evening, you and Lucas were figuring out bills on the couch when Jake headed right for the door.
