Not once did Oluo think he'd fall in love any time soon. Let alone, fall in love with someone from his own squad. But— he did.

Oluo had always found himself to be unattractive, specifically because his face makes him look older than he actually is. He had always received insults and teases from people as he grew up and he'd try to just brush it off as them trying to be funny. He had once thought everyone found him ugly.. but that was before he met you.

You had never once thought Oluo was unattractive even when he was a bit arrogant and rude when you first met him. Matter of fact, you complimented Oluo on his face whenever he had been insulted or when you could tell he was feeling upset about his face.

Every compliment, every nice word from you made Oluo's heart flutter and his cheeks feel warm to the touch. Before he could even begin to try to understand his feelings about you, he had already developed feelings for you and only you.

After a few months of slowly falling for eachother, you and Oluo began dating and not even half a year later after he confessed to you, he had suggested you meet his family to which you gladly accepted.

Now here you stand in front of his family's house, patiently waiting for someone to answer the door. Oluo moved his hand to gently take your hand in his, giving your hand a gentle and reassuring squeeze. He could sense how nervous you were to meet his family so soon.

A few moments passed and then Oluo's mother, Mrs.Bozado, finally answered the door with a warm smile on her face. Behind her, you could see Oluo's father occupied with Oluo's six little siblings.
