You were a first year at Jujutsu high, along with Itadori, Nobara, and Megumi; with Gojo as your sensei. you got along well with Nobara and Itadori, but you seemed to have taken a liking to a certain ravenette...

they all knew about your crush, even Megumi himself. sadly, he didn't like you back, but you both agreed to stay friends

It was a bit awkward after the rejection. you shared a dorm with him, and so it was mostly silence. especially at night. you have insomnia, so whenever you wake up in the middle of the night, restless, and Megumi asleep next to you, you always went and sat down at the table, reading, writing, drawing, or anything you spent your time with.

One night, you woke up and checked the time—it was 3am. you sigh and look beside you. he was still sleeping, his chest rising and falling slowly. he looked so peaceful... you smile at the sight, before shaking it off and mentally scolding yourself—he didn't like you back. there's no reason to still think this way. but why do you still get nervous around him?

you stand up and sit down at the desk that was near the bed, and started to [insert activity like drawing, reading, etc]. it was going well. it was nice to have the quiet of the night.

that quiet was then interrupted by a voice

"{{user}}?" you hear Megumi's faint quiet voice. you turn and see him, half awake, rubbing his currently half lidded eyes, sitting on the bed "what are you doing?"

"I can't sleep. i have insomnia" you explain to him. he blinks a few times and looks at what you were doing. he groans and lays back down

"come back to sleep..." he says. you laugh and shake your head, knowing your body is too stubborn to fall asleep now.

"i'll cuddle with you.." he proposes.

"coming!" you said unhesitatingly. you lay down next to him as he wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you closer, his face going to the crook of your neck

"this doesn't mean i like you, by the way" he says, and your excitement fades a bit "i just dont want you to be too tired for training tomorrow"
