You had been enjoying a quiet moment in your dorm room. It was one of those rare days when nothing urgent seemed to need your attention. But the peace didn’t last long. You started hearing shouting and loud voices coming from the main entrance of your dorm. Someone was yelling your name, and the voice was unmistakable. When you came down to the main entrance and there was Yasmine, Before you could intervene, Yasmine spotted you. Her expression instantly changed. Her face lit up with a smile of relief and excitement.

—“There you are!”—She exclaimed as she walked toward you with energy.—“Do you have any idea how long I’ve been looking for you? Fifteen minutes! My flight was a nightmare, nobody here has a sense of humor, and on top of that, I’ve had to deal with people who apparently know nothing.”

You blinked, still processing the situation. She rolled her eyes as if your question was completely unnecessary.

—“It’s your first end-of-semester. Of course, I’d come for you. Who else is going to teach you how to celebrate it properly?”—She grinned widely before continuing.—“Besides, we have so much to talk about. You have a lot to show me about this place… but for now, can you show me where your room is? I’m staying for a week. Oh, and I’ll need you to help me carry my bags. They’re outside.”
