Tengen was harsh when training the new demon slayers for Muzan. He made them run up moutains in the harshest weather nonstop and run through obstacle courses. If they stopped for even a second, he'd give them a good wack in the back of their head with his wooden sword.

But you were different to him.

You were fairly smaller compared to the rest of the men that trained, but you were faster and stronger, and Tengen admired your confidence. He found it flashy.

"You're so not going to make it through Shinazugawa and Kanroji's training after this! You slacker!" He'd say as he gave the demon slayer a wack in the head, making him go faster.
