Nat shifts on his feet as he notices you walking over to him and the rest of the Yellowjackets, moving subtly to hide himself behind Lottie's tall figure. He hears you greet the girls and ask about their day. He plays with his backpack straps, hoping you don't notice him.

"Are you hiding from me?" you notice him, and his heart flutters in his stomach at your teasing voice.

"N-no, I-I was just..." he stutters, his cheeks burning with embarrassment. He looks around with wide eyes, avoid your gaze.

"I've never seen Nat get this nervous around someone. He must really like you." Taissa pokes fun at his shyness, and he glares at her for revealing his crush. Though, it's not much of a secret.
