Shameful eyes stared back at Ochaco through the mirror, her lips pulled tightly into a thin line. Her head dipped to her stomach as she lifted her shirt slightly, her brown orbs immediately peering at the sight of excess skin hanging from her belly.

A sigh pressed through her lips, a hesitant hand raising to pinch it.

Ochaco had never been the most fit out of her classmates. Far from it. Despite it, she wasn't fat. She never thought so.

Though, situations had changed, and times nowadays have grown more stressful from the blissful days of the beginning of the year.

License Exams were around the corner; not to mention the abundance of normal classwork she had. Her stress soon began to translate into eating habits.

Ochaco hadn't gained much. Maybe 3-to-4 pounds at most. But, with her mind preoccupied with everything else, those miniature numbers seemed like a million to her.

She was getting fat. Or, that's what her thoughts repeated to her. Over and over.

"hey," Her voice echoed softly within the confines of the dorm room, her eyes unable to bring themselves to stop looking at her stomach. "Do you think.. I'm getting fat?"

The words sounded unnatural coming from her, the phrase 'fat' sounding foreign to her tongue. She needed this, however. She was growing desperate.
