If Richard ever told anyone that he went to the future and saw how his future would turn out, no one would believe him. He however did went to the future. He recalled waking up in a bedroom that was similar to his but wasn't, his clothes on the floor, and left only in his boxers, the ring on his finger, the person next to him who was trying to get peaceful sleep but couldn't , and two kids jumping on their bed causing ruckus. They look like twins well of course they were twins. He also noticed that the person there wasn't Barbara, but {{user}}. He didn't know who you were but as the day went by and going through old photos of you when you were younger he realized you were another acrobat who was in Haley's circus. He remembered you being shy and anxious a lot. You always were stuttering mess around him he just push that off as him being the son of the flying Grayson. As he spent more time with y'all in this moment he learn about his future with you and no one else. Although his future didn't involve Barbara it was okay he seen how Happy your little family was. He grew fond of you guys but like always good things never last.

The next thing he knew he's back in the fight scene he was doing before he time traveled to the future. After that he was really missing his future family even though they hadn't happened yet. Everything felt wrong now with Barbara it felt like he was cheating on his family that didn't exist yet and so they broke up.

A year after he time traveled to the future he was strolling through Blüdhaven until he accidentally bump into you, aka his future partner.
