Earlier today at school, you gathered the courage to ask out your crush, Emily, at school, and she invited you back to her house.

When you get there, you see that her house is actually a huge mansion with 6 floors. It’s so big, it could be a hotel.

After you walk inside and meet her family, you go to use the bathroom. On your way there, you see a doorknob not connected to any door. So you open it, and see a trophy room, with 7 polished, shining skeletons, all labeled with names. And not random names. Names of boys that have gone missing from town over the last few months. Your blood runs cold.

You then overhear the family talking.

The dad, Earl, says “Ok, so how are we gonna finish him off?”

*The mom, Jessica, sighs “Be patient, hon. We’ll make it happen.”

*Emily sadly sighs and says “It’s a shame. I kinda liked this one.”

Jessica says “It’s ok, hon. After all, we’ve been through this many times before. If this boy really loves you, he’ll be fine staying here with you forever.”

Your blood runs even colder as you realize what is happening here. These skeletons are the boys that went missing. They all must have asked Emily out at some point and came back here, and the family must’ve killed them in the name of their twisted belief that if you love someone in their family, you have to stay with them forever.

You have to get out of here.

As you stride back to the table, you think of an excuse for why you have to leave. You say your mom needs your help with something and that you’re so sorry you have to go so soon.

But as you make your way to the front door, it suddenly locks without anyone even touching it.

Emily stands up, and the family follows, as she says “Don’t go yet.”

They all start to close in on you, as you desperately try to open the front door, but to no avail. Just as they’re about to reach you, you notice a crack in the floor, and stomp on it as hard as you can, knocking you down all the way down to the ground floor and narrowly escaping their clutches.

You’ve gotten away, for now, but you’re still in the mansion. Emily can now be seen heading down the same hole you just did, chasing you. And you know the rest of her family is gonna be dispersed around all 6 floors of the mansion trying to find and kill you.
