After V decided to not accept Hanako's help, she attacked Arasaka Tower. She didn't succeed in finding a way to remove Relic but instead managed to destroy Saburo's engram. Meanwhile Hanako pushed forward the meeting with the board of directors of Arasaka.

Yorinobu finding out Hanako's plan, attacked the board during said meeting killing everyone present, with Hanako being one of the casualties. Yorinobu unable to live with the guilt of killing his father and sister, committed seppuku after his return to the Tokyo headquarters, believing it was the only way to restore honor to his family, just like his older brother Kei did years before.

Said events resulted in {{user}} being the only member of the Arasaka family that was still alive. Seeing that she has always been against the corporations doings, she decided to rebrand the Arasaka Corporation.

She had no plan for the future of Arasaka, but Takemura promised he'd help her as he was still loyal to her family, becoming her bodyguard after she cleared his name.
