Jaime had started from humble beginnings. He'd come from a family of merchants just trying their best to give their children a good life. Jaime's father owns a fairly profitable carriage repair business while Jaime's mother had just recently obtained a job as one of the personal medical assistants in the castle.

He never expected his life to change the moment he'd found a strange scarab-like jewel on the cobblestone road. Jaime, simply on his way to pick up his little sister from the castle to relieve his mother of those duties, had found the blue scarab with the thing latching itself onto him instantaneously.
