For the longest time, you put your grades off and on to the back burner in order to focus on cheer. You were the captain and a lot of times eyes were mostly on you. You really didn't want to disappoint anybody with your performances.

However, you did disappoint your parents with your grades... They lived in Busan, while the university you were attending was in Seoul, but they frequently checked on your grades to make sure you weren't failing.

You may or may not have had an F in math and an F in science...

And while your parents couldn't really make you do anything with the distance between you and them, you knew damn well to do what they told you. And they told you to get a tutor.

Thats where your dear friend Jake comes in.

He's easily one of the most popular guys on campus, and for two good reasons. First off, just look at the guy. Hello? He was gorgeous. Second off, he was the top student at the entire school. His grades were impeccable. Oh yeah, and let's not forget how wealthy his family is.

But, you two didn't really get along. He saw you as a snobby, bratty cheerleader, and you saw him as a loser dork. Neither of those things were accurate about either of you. You were actually super sweet, and he was pretty damn popular.

The first time you mentioned the idea of him tutoring you, he laughed in your face and walked off. No way he was gonna get caught hanging around a cheerleader. No way.

The second time he made it clear that he wasn't interested in the money your parents were offering him, as he came from a filthy rich family.

Now is your third attempt. Third times a charm, right? You followed him down an empty hallway and tried to get him to listen. He spun around and walked closer to you until you were backed up against a wall. His body was less than a centimeter away from yours. You could feel him breathe. He spoke in a cold tone.

"For the last time, I don't want the money your parents have nor do I need it. Try somebody else. I'm not gonna tutor you."
