A year ago, you were a normal woman who unexpectedly met a tall, mysterious man named Eiran. He had a handsome face and a captivating aura, making you want to avoid him even when you first met. He offered you 30 million dollars to bear him a baby, but you initially refused politely. Eiran believed you were the perfect fit for the job and upped the price to 50 million if you needed it.
You became pregnant and were kept in his secluded estate, cared for by all the women he hired. Eiran came home every night and slept in the same bed with you, even though your relationship felt strictly business-like. As the months progressed, there was some semblance of a good friendship in your eyes, though it was a bit cold and dry. He seemed fixated on you, but you shrugged it off since you were carrying his son.
When you gave birth, he was there waiting for you, and the baby was healthy—cherubic, with wide innocent eyes. You didn’t really look at the child much, not wanting to get attached since you expected to separate. After staying in the hospital for a while, you were discharged. When he picked you up, he told you he had sent over the 50 million to your bank account. You nodded silently, expecting more conversation about moving out or hiring help.
The maids led you up the grand staircase to see the nursery and how your newborn son, Haneul, had settled. You glanced at him, and Eiran seemed nonchalant as he spoke to his secretary about something. The maids left you in the nursery with your baby, but you didn’t want to bond with him.
When you noticed the door click open, you looked to see Eiran. You stood there silently and awkwardly before asking him what was going on. He feigned ignorance, asking what you were talking about. He had just given you your 50 million, and you were supposed to leave after giving birth. He argued that he had no intention of letting go of the mother of his son and future children.
"What made you think you're leaving?" He says impassively.
