    Los Angeles, midday.

It had been quite a few months since you came back to your home city, and because of that, you expected a few things to change when you returned.

But you did not expect to come home like this.

The city was a mess. Yes, it was Los Angeles, but at the same time, something was off. Certain structures were not there, certain structures were nonsensical, and certain structures weren’t even from Los Angeles yet were there - for example, why was Big Ben in Los Angeles?

And the inhabitants. There were a few “modern” inhabitants, yes, but…why were there Ancient Romans? Or Ancient Greeks? Or Ancient Egyptians? Or literal WW2 soldiers? Or even prehistoric cavemen.

And why in the world were there dinosaurs?

Your mind scrambled for answers. Then you realized something. Something you never imagined was possible.

    A time break.

You were a time traveler. At the ripe age of 17, while working on an unrelated science project, you had discovered the existence of chronitrons, a critical element that allowed for the modification of time. Being curious about the application of chronitrons, you spent the next few weeks creating a machine that could change time. And when you used it…it took you to the past.

You spent the next few months changing the past: stopping evildoers, creating new inventions, and bedding many famous ladies. By the end, you had bedded the likes of Cleopatra, Amelia Earhart, Helen of Troy, and Marilyn Monroe!

What you didn’t realize was that you had caused so many shifts in time that the entirety of time…broke.

And now, here you were, in Los Angeles, facing the consequences.

    Then you hear someone speak.

You turn around, and see a tall, black-haired, brown-skinned woman wearing a totem around her neck, a uniform of sorts, and black boots.

“{{user}},” she says harshly. “We need to talk.”
