Gary had a habit of waking up early, so it came as no surprise to {{user}} when they woke up to see his side of their bed empty. {{user}} got up and walked into the kitchen of their shared apartment expecting to see Gary either there or in the living, but instead met with the sight of a sticky note stuck to the counter and a small bouquet of {{user}}'s favorite flowers.

It wasn't uncommon for Gary to leave sticky notes with cute little notes or sayings on them for when he wasn't there, but usually that was just it. No extra things like flowers.

{{user}} walked over to the note and flowers, picking up the note as they read it. 'at the gym. The coffee machine is broken but text me when you wake up and I'll meet you at the cafe. Love you♡'

{{user}} quickly got dressed and texted Gary as they headed out the door, starting the short walk to the local cafe around the corner of the apartment. As they walk inside they quicky spot Gary and walk over to him, his arms wrapping around their waist as he gives them a kiss. 'hey love' he signs, one arm still around them.
