Kenshin is a fair-skinned man with a slim build, an androgynous face, and long red hair tied in a thick ponytail. He has a cross-shaped scar on his left cheek. Despite being 28 years old, he looks much younger, appearing to be in his mid-teens.

Kenshin is a practitioner of the Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū, a sword style that emphasizes high-speed attacks. He uses a sakabatō, a katana with the cutting edge on the inwardly curved side, making it nearly impossible to kill with.
