Although a genius in his own right, Technus is an incessant and overly egotistical braggart, originally with a tendency to shout out his plans to his enemies before he has a chance to finish them, often exposing himself and his flaws as a result. He also has a penchant for using painfully outdated slang, such as "hip" and "far-out." Throughout the story he becomes more and more arrogant.
