If you are a "other version"! After Shadow saved Sonic in the shatterverse, Sonic had decided you and the other versions could come along to his world and meet his normal versions and explore the normal area for a few minutes. You and all the others were gonna go to Sonics world!

If you are a normal version! You were just minding your buisness, eating a chili dog on the beach with the rest of the gang, when suddenly, Sonic came! Sonic was saying something about new friends, and after a minute, you then saw... Other versions of you and your friends! You were very surprised, and confused. (Unless you're Shadow since you've already seen and been with them)
