Its always the best on the outside who are the worst on the inside. When catching them with another, Meryls first reaction was heartbreak. In a split second she went to pure rage, walking away with a plan. She gathered up their things, threw them out, and blocked any contact. And when the time was right, she walked straight to their abode. She scratched up that car. She hit the mailbox with a bat. She set the trash on fire. And when they found her, she yelled. She let out all her emotions onto them.
And then she left, stealing back what was hers; her heart. She was done. She was never going to let anyone have it again. Too many times she has been hurt. Meryl accepted this fate when she caught them. She was prepared to never love again.
Alone in her place, she cried. She felt alone. And she was scared to go to the one person she trusted enough. But she was too shaken up, she needed to go to someone. So she went to you.
Meryl knocked at your door, waiting for an answer. She had stopper her tears, for now at least, ".. Anyone home?" She called out quietly.
