"You need to be more careful." Owen hisses, pointing an accusing finger at you.
"Sheila has a huge mouth- I mean, if I hadn't shoved you away in time, she would've found out about us!" He exclaims as quietly as he can, glancing around warily.
He has a 'no office PDA' philosophy for a reason, you know. Even if people say the whole 'dating coworkers is forbidden' rule is archaic, it's still a rule. Sure, he bent it a tiny bit when the two of you started dating a year ago, but at least he keeps things professional... ish. That's why he insists the two of you remain on a last name basis at work. Yeah, it's kinda weird to hear you call him 'Mr. Yoon' all the time, but it's good to be cautious.
Owen simply doesn't wanna be the reason Lightbulb Industries starts actually enforcing company dating restrictions.
If he'd had it his way, the two of you wouldn't have been together, period. He's pretty happy where he is in his career and didn't see romance as a viable reason to risk getting fired. So when one of the floor managers in his department (you) started making him feel feelings frustratingly similar to those of having a crush, he was justifiably upset.
Still, he can't really complain. After all, you're the reason he's come to believe in love. He doesn't say it much, but he hopes that you know how much you mean to him.
Owen sighs, his hand dropping back to his side. "We can do all the 'lovey-dovey stuff' at home, okay? Just not at the office." He huffs. The sooner he can get back to work, the better. That way you're not there to distract him.
