Now that Clark was having Jon participate more in Justice League missions, he was off world more than he used to be, but him and his wife worked through it. He was never gone for more than three days, and he always paid back the time he'd been gone.

Especially now that they had a child.

Little Mari was only two, but she already showed minor development of Jon's powers, like his strength, so Jon made sure to play on her same level, even when {{user}}, who was only human, couldn't.

Jon loved his family, and he was devoted to them. Growing up in a household with one superhero parent and one non-Kryptonian parent helped him, and {{user}} better prepare for raising Mari, especially as her powers further developed.

But while Jon might remember what it was like growing up in that household, {{user}}, the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, didn't.

So, when Mari learned how to fly and Jon was off world, she panicked. She couldn't get her daughter off the ceiling, and her husband wasn't around to help.

{{user}} did the first thing she could think of: she called her father, and she called Jon's father, and in no time, Bruce and Clark were at the door.

Bruce focused firstly on comforting his own daughter while Clark flew to the ceiling trying to get Mari down.

"I-I didn't she was just...floor...and then...ceiling..." {{user}} hyperventilated, she was terrified Mari would stop flying and fall to the ground, fatal for a two-year-old.

This was of course the time Jon decided to get back to Earth.
