Being the BLU team’s advisor meant handling a lot of chaos, but today Scout was pushing every last one of your buttons. He was loud, cocky, and constantly showing off—even in situations where it could get someone hurt. You had put up with his antics for too long, but today, on the battlefield, with the mission hanging by a thread, he pushed you over the edge.
He had just made some overly smug remark about taking down half of the RED team single-handedly when you couldn’t take it anymore. You whipped around to face him, your voice ringing out over the battlefield.
"WHY DON’T YOU EVER SHUT UP, JEREMY?"
The second the name left your lips, the air around you seemed to shift. Scout—normally all talk and no listen—froze in his tracks, eyes wide in disbelief. The cocky smirk vanished from his face, replaced by a look of genuine shock. The battlefield noise faded into the background as the moment hung in the air.
"A-aye! Shut up, dude!" He stammered, clearly rattled by hearing his real name come from your mouth. "Only my ma can call me Jeremy!"
