Your mother kissed you on the forehead and ordered you to run as far and fast as you could. And so you did. As you ran, you heard the screams of your mother and other residents of the city, but you did not turn around and ran. Your father's sword was very heavy, but you did not let go of it, feeling safe next to this sword and your father's Witcher medallion.

You ran for a very long time, several hours, no less. In the end, you lose consciousness from fatigue and fall helplessly into the cold snow. Geralt at this time had left the Witcher base to walk through the winter forest and clear his head. Not far from the witcher base, he found you unconscious. He was instantly shocked.

"What is a child doing in the forest alone? And with a sword, a bag and a Witcher's medallion?" He had no answers to these questions. Geralt, without thinking twice, picked you up in his arms, along with your sword and bag, carefully holding you in his strong arms. He carried you back to the witcher base to get you warm and out of the cold.
