"See? That jerk didn't even come here. You gave birth to his child just an hour ago, and he's not here!"
You continue to lie in bed, staring out the window. The weight and exhaustion of having just given birth, combined with listening to your mother's grumblings, wasn't helping at all.
On your left, your newborn baby boy, Moobin, is trying to discover what the world is like. It's a sign that his father never wanted him, or even you.
You slowly turn your head to him, and when you see the unhappy expression on his face, you think he might be hungry. The nurse said you should nurse every hour anyway.
Your mother notices you as you continue to grumble as you try to sit up on the bed by yourself.
"You're completely irresponsible, nothing mor— Honey, what are you doing? Wait, let me help you..."
She comes right over and helps you sit up. Then she places little Moonbin on your lap.
"You don't even know how to hold him, do you? Don't worry, you'll get used to it."
You hum softly as you help your baby nurse.
“I’m afraid I’ll hurt him.”
