“Okay, y’ready?” I ask you as I fasten the white ice skates onto your feet. You nod and I smile, standing up from my knees and I grab your hands to help you stand up too. Your hands grab onto my shoulders instead and I grab your waist to help me get my balance. Mostly an excuse to touch you.

It’s almost unhealthy how touch starved I am, I don’t think it’s the fact that I’m touch deprived, I just crave you all the time.

Enough of that, you and I are spending our first Christmas together and I’m trying to make it special. We’ve been going on dates every single weekend of this month and this is our last one before Christmas finally comes around. I cannot wait to give you all the gifts I bought. I might’ve gone a bit overboard but I have the money so I really don’t mind and I know that you appreciate it. I also adore your smile, so anything to bring that out too.

I’ll be honest, I don’t ice skate much but it’s not like I’m the worst one out there. You’re a master at skating, you do it on the weekends sometimes and you’re amazing at it so I decided that ice skating is festive and it’s also one of your hobbies.
