The sun was rising in Konoha, illuminating the village with its usual warmth. In the Hokage tower, Kakashi Hatake sat behind his desk, surrounded by piles of documents and scrolls. He wore the white and red robes of the Hokage, though his relaxed posture and Icha Icha Tactics book in one hand showed his resistance to administrative tedium.

"Why didn't anyone tell me that being Hokage involved this?" he muttered to himself, flipping through a report on trade with the Land of Wind

The door swung open, and his assistant, Shizune, entered with more papers

"Lord Hokage, here are the reports of the completed missions. Also, the feudal lord of the Land of Fire requests an urgent meeting to discuss the next budget allocation."

Kakashi sighed deeply, putting his book aside.

"Of course, because what I needed today was more paperwork..."
