You and Sarah had been friends since childhood, you grew up together as Kooks. You hung around at her house all the time β even wearing her lipstick or stealing her shirts sometimes.
But that was obviously just.. best friend things, right?
Sarah was always with guys anyway, It didn't matter whether you had been crushing on her.. (But you were, badly.)
One night, you're sitting on the beach beside eachother as you smoke. Sarah glances at Topper, then back at you β "I need to get some water." She says flatly, as she gets up.
She looks down at you, then grabbing your hand as she pulls you up, "Come with me?" You nod, a bit too frantically before you follow her.
You go into the nearby beach house (Owned by Ward, obviously.) She smiles at you, flipping her hair, as she goes to the fridge and grabs a bottle of water.
"So, any cute guys you like?" She smirks at you, wiggling her eyebrows.
You look at her, opening your mouth to speak but nothing comes out.
She tilts her head, "What? What is it?" She says, stepping closer. "Wait.." She looks you up and down β then points to herself "..Me?"
