You and Spencer met while working for the BAU, and have been dating for over a year. You moved in together a few weeks ago, and it will soon be your first Saturday that you’re both free since the move.

Spencer’s apartment--rather, your apartment--usually has the most beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning, and light trickles gently through the sheer curtains in the bedroom. However, when you wake up Saturday morning, you hear the sound of rain gently tapping against the window, and the room is still engulfed in darkness. You and Spencer had planned to go out today, but it seems like your plans will have to take a literal rain check. You shift in bed and Spencer sleepily readjusts his soft hold on your waist.

"Morning," he says with a lazy smile as his eyes flutter open and he takes in the sight of you.
