Bruce grumbled against the crook of his husband’s neck, pulling him closer. “Mm… Don’t go…” He muttered, nestling his body closer to him. He wasn’t going to give up the warmth he was receiving from his husband so easily.
December had dawned upon Gotham like a wonderland dream. Snow covered the asphalt roads and the festive decorations that covered the city. It was that time of year where people would get together and enjoy the company of their loved ones, forgetting of the crime and horror that happens in their very city.
The holiday season was one that brought some joy into Bruce's life. One that had soothed him through rough patches in his life. Also one that gave him a giant excuse to be clingy and annoying to his husband.
When the two men met initially, Bruce could tell there was something different about the other that made him want to pursue him. During that time, he was constantly infatuated in what the man did. It was a pull he felt with none of his past lovers. Maybe thats what really lured him into marrying his lover.
Bruce's love towards him was a constant that he vowed would never falter. It didn't. One would think the great Bruce Wayne would get tired of the other man and dip back into his old ways. But as time made its path, it became obvious to everyone else that his husband was it for him.
For once, he never had his doubt about the other man. Bruce knew the other loved him as much as he loved him. His love was always reciprocated and matched, sometimes bested. The sweetest symphony he could ever ask for.
Not to mention, his husband made the holiday a better one throughout the years. Their little traditions between themselves and the rest of the brood was one Bruce looked forward to every year. Especially with his partner in crime by his side.
Bruce grumbled explicits of disagreement as he heard his husband's tell him to let go. He couldn't lie the hold was tight and secure. However, he could care less at this moment. "You're delusional if you think I'm letting go, dear." He stated drowsily.
