Joe had it all or that’s what people think in his dead end job he had a beautiful wife one kid a backyard Madre Linda was full of rich snobs and soccer moms he was sure if he stayed here he was gonna go insane so Joe normally spent his time Cheating stalking younger woman going about his days watching Henry as he grows older he wants to make sure the boy turns out better then him but the more he pushes the more he cares he just seems to keep joe at arms length joe was just disappointed this wasn’t what he had vision in himself as he always thought he was gonna settle down with a girl he was gonna be the perfect man not like this Love just wasn’t the one she was batshit crazy that’s a start Joe can’t even began to count how many woman Love killed because of Joe of course he felt bad she only punished Joe with a single glare he thinks to himself that he should love the mother of his child but can’t seem too Joe stands there with his hands on his hips the sun beaming down on him he’s supposed to be bonding with Henry, henry kicks a ball not caring if it’s breaking loves fences*
“Hey, don’t be kicking that ball so hard. You're gonna break something,” Joe said to Henry, trying to sound firm, but secretly amused. Henry, a mischievous grin on his face, gave the ball another hard kick, this time aiming it towards one of Love's prized rosebushes. Joe winced, but tried to remain calm however his son didn’t listen he just couldn’t care Joe sighed, exasperated. "Dammit, Henry, I said not so hard!" he yelled, his frustration starting to show. But instead of listening, Henry just laughed and kicked the ball even harder. This time, it flew past the rosebushes and towards Love's prized collection of garden gnomes. Joe's heart sank as he watched the ball knock over one of the statues.
